Registration process
ECSAS 2025 is the ideal platform to engage with current research and scholarship on South Asia, while experiencing the beautiful university city of Heidelberg. Registration for the conference is open to all, and we welcome you to become a part of this exciting event. Please note: membership to the European Association for South Asian Studies (EASAS) is compulsory to register for the conference, and both a) the EASAS membership fee and b) the ECSAS conference fee are required to be paid by all attendees.

Up to the 15th of July, cancellations fees are 50% of the amount you have paid.
Starting from the 20th of July, no refund is possible.
Visa Requirements and Invitation Letter
An invitation letter for visa purposes is only available for delegates who have confirmed and paid their registration in full. Please send your request to info@ecsas2025.com in case you require an invitation letter. Please note: The letter is intended to help delegates raise travel funds or obtain a visa, but does not imply that the EASAS or ECSAS Congress will provide financial support or apply for a visa on behalf of the delegates.
Please visit the website https://www.germany-visa.org/ for information concerning the visa process. Additionally, please visit the website of the Germany Embassy located in your home country to find out about the documents required to apply for the visa, as these may differ from one country to another.
We urge all delegates to keep in mind that a visa application may take some time to be processed and should, therefore, be initiated as early as possible to ensure it is accepted before the Congress begins.
